About Legal Services Facility Tanzania


The Legal Services Facility (LSF) is a basket fund that works to ensure access to Justice for all in particular women and girls by the agency of legal empowerment. The organization, which was established in 2011 and re-registered as an NGO in 2019, works all over the United Republic of Tanzania through funding from DANIDA, DFID and the EU to enable it to realize this core objective, and it channels these funds on an equal opportunity basis to regional organizations that provide legal aid and paralegal services. Through these services the fundamental rights of individuals and communities are observed and protected, their grievances are redressed and their disputes are resolved in a deliberate bid to build a society in which justice is universal.

The aim of this portal is to provide platform between Legal Aid providers and Community in need of legal aid. The portal will offer online legal aid services connecting the individuals with nearby paralegals or legal aid providers, empower community to know of various policy and laws as well as legal related tips It is also an avenue for e- learning where Legal Aid Providers (paralegals) will have an opportunity to Learn from bouquets courses that aim to shape their expertise in program management, financial Management, resource mobilization and issues around government and human resources which will aid the provision of quality service to the needy.
